A warm welcome from the Parish Church of St Mary’s, Balcombe, West Sussex

We are a thriving church community and we look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful church of St Mary’s in the delightful village of Balcombe.  Our country church is mainly of Victorian origin; however, records show there was a church on the site by 1090.

We offer a variety of services drawing on both traditional and contemporary style.  We have groups for children of different ages, a four-part mixed choir, a committed group of bell ringers, house groups and Mothers’ Union gatherings.  We host activities and festivals, throughout the year, embracing the wider community in our friendly rural village.

Please do come and join us!

Christ, be our light!

Shine in our hearts

Shine through the darkness

Christ, be our light!

Shine in your church gathered today.
